AI That Replies to Your Messages, Safely: Drafts, Permissions and Proof
Letting AI answer your messages saves hours, until it sends something you didn't mean. Here's how an agentic messenger keeps you in control: drafts by default, sending only under rules you set, and a record of every message it sent for you.
Level 1: it drafts, you send
Out of the box, Kanvo's agent never sends on its own. It reads the conversation, writes the reply in your voice and leaves it as a draft. You send it, edit it or ignore it.
Level 2: it helps you keep up
Before any sending, the agent does the reading:
Level 3: it sends under rules you set
When you are ready, you can let the agent send and schedule on its own, under limits you choose, and keep a person approving anything risky. Drafts can be scored for risk before delivery, and anything over your threshold goes to a human instead of out.
The part most AI reply tools skip: proof
When an agent sends on your behalf, Kanvo records, at the moment it sends:
Where the AI cannot look
Some conversations should be off-limits to any AI. Kanvo's private conversations are end-to-end encrypted with MLS: the server stores only ciphertext, and search, AI and calls are not available in them. You choose one when you start the conversation. Ordinary conversations are the ones the agent works in.
A sensible way to start
Let the agent draft for a week and see how often you send its draft unchanged.Use catch-ups and questions on your busiest threads.Only then hand over sending, for one kind of conversation, with approval on.
