Find anything, and keep what matters

Search everything at once, ask about a message instead of hunting for it, and save or pin what you'll need again.

Search

⌘K opens the command palette from anywhere; type to search. The search page searches every message in Kanvo and your connected apps together.Inside a conversation, the magnifying glass in its header, Search this conversation, searches that one alone (⌘F or Ctrl+F on the web, Mac and Windows).

Ask instead of hunting

Open a message's ⋯ menu and choose Ask Kanvo. A sheet opens with four one-tap questions: What led to this?, Find related messages, Explain this and What was decided?, or type your own. The answer comes with a card for each message it relied on; tap one to jump there, however old it is.

Keep what you'll need again

Save keeps a message in your own Saved list, with an optional note. Nobody else sees it.Pin to this conversation puts a message in the pinned bar at the top, for everybody in it.

One person, one contact

When the same person writes on WhatsApp and Slack, save them as one contact, so their conversations sit together and the assistant reads both.

The short version

⌘K searches everywhere; the header's magnifying glass searches one conversation.Ask Kanvo on a message answers "what led to this?" with links to the sources.Save is private; Pin is for everyone in the conversation.Save people as one contact across apps.

Try it in Kanvo
